Instant Food : Bluberry pudding
Daiso food = Cheap & Tasty?
I wondered, as I reached for a pack of blueberry dessert.
*Daiso- Franchise store selling a variety of Japanese goods, from food to cleaning to crafts. Everything is sold at $2 each. In Japan, everything is sold at 100¥ only.
I enjoy shopping at Daiso, as anything is only $2! I also love desserts, especially if it's affordable and tasty!

However, I often hear that "Cheap things are no good". Is that true?
Let's test it out!
(In my excitement to make this dessert, I forgot to take pictures until I finished 0.0)
When you open the box, there is a pouch of liquid. Ooo...
Following the pictures on the back, I added the specified volume of milk to a bowl, and emptied the packet's content into the bowl.
The content were some purple gel, which smelled sweet. It was tart, with a strong flavour of berries.
This doesn't look good... however...
As I mixed the 2 liquids together, the mixture started to thicken! The milk turned a light shade of lavender, and the aroma of sweetness and berries wafted up my nose.
Done! Into the fridge you go~
This is such a pretty colour! There are even bits of blueberry throughout the dessert.
"Generous" Sprinkling of nuts

This is actually... Not bad! It is fast and easy to prepare, as minimal ingredients are required. It also tastes good, as the tartness complements the sweetness of the flavouring.
Plus, its affordable, and easily available.
Simple is best, huh?
And, not all cheap things are bad! This stigma arises as people relate price to quality. Pricey things may not always be of good quality, and vice versa.
You just need to have a sharp eye and willingness to try out new things.
Good food is everywhere, it's just whether you're able to find it or not :D
Till then, さようなら!
