Packing and Design
Why do we buy certain products, but not others? Mainly, because of it's packaging and design.
The more eye-catching, the more attractive to the customer, the higher the chance of it being bought.
However, there would also be other factors that a consumer considers, before purchasing, such as, the price, taste, and ingredients that went into the food itself.
For example, a housewife may be looking for food that is cheap, nutritious, and individually packaged for her children to bring to school. Or a person with intolerance and allergies cannot take certain substances e.g. lactose intolerance, peanut allergies
Below are examples of different food packaged and designed differently to attract various consumers.
*Lotte Chocolate-coated biscuit *
Probably attracts tourists, since each biscuit is individually wrapped and designed to look nice.
Maybe people who like to eat nice-looking food.
*Sample of Julie's peanut butter sandwich cookie*
Probably attracts students and (really) busy people, who do not have much time in between breaks to enjoy a well-deserved meal.
Maybe people who just like eating it(it tastes nice). However, the actual package comes in 4 cookies/pack.
* Macaroons of the 12 zodiac signs.*

Probably attracts macaroon-lovers with a penchant for lovely things, or little kids.
Maybe tourists who have not seen this before.
