Al"tea"natives: Coffee, Cocoa, Oat - ICT Asia 2022

 Beverages other than tea were showcased, such as the ever-popular coffee, delightful cocoa drink, and plant-based milk alternative.

UCC: Like the previous show, their pavilion was situated at the entrance. They had on display a fancy, cafe-style glass siphon, as well as an automated drip coffee maker. Towards the back of the booth, UCC displayed their product range such as freeze dried granules, bulk coffee beans, and Ready-To-Drink coffee products. 

Coincidentally, the CNA crew were filming an interview when I arrived. I’m sure that the crew were very energized by the coffee aroma~

Cafe amazon: One of the largest coffee chains in the world, the Thailand-brand was displaying its series of home use products, such as roasted beans, drip coffee & cold brew coffee. They also had non-coffee items like chocolate beverage and brownie crisp, which I had bought for sampling. Taste test will be shared in a future post.

Oatly: One of many plant-based oat milk, and a vegan alternative to cow's milk. Oatly's versatility was showcased through their barista coffee & chocolate ice-cream taste test! Although Oatly's ice-cream cannot beat dairy's, as a plant based confectionery, it was nice and chocolate-ty. I learnt that this brand is distributed by a local company (Boncafe) that supplies food ingredients to HORECA customers.
