Making food the easy way! - ICT Asia 2022

Aside from food, owners do enlist the help of machines to increase productivity, or enhance customer experience. Using equipment also helps in standardising portion, or creating unique presentation design.

Ohki - A Japanese manufacturer of plastic net strainers for tea/coffee bags. This drip coffee filter is attached to an ergonomically designed paper support, to be placed on the cup without the coffee grounds soaking in the water. They also provide custom designs, such as this cute Japan patterned paper holder.

Suzumo - There was a low drone of repetitive thumping, which I found later were from these sushi makers. It was churning out perfectly shaped rice rolls & seaweed rolls. There were varieties in the shape and volume of rice portioning for each model, and there were even several sushi train models available for restaurants.

Ripples printer - Using natural food extract, the printer can customise images on foam! Thus, cafes are able to offer more than just "swan" or "leaf" latte art - they can even offer to print the customers' face!

This was an exciting expo, but with so many products, its sayang that I could only post some highlights from the show.. Eagerly awaiting the next tradeshow, Specialty & Fine food Asia!
